HOPE don’t pay for their donation shop, and Give Today use just £0.50 of the item prices below to cover transaction costs and price fluctuations from suppliers. Give Today don’t profit from the sale of any items on the website.

Hope Project at work:

At the start of 1994, Leeds Social Services made Community Care Grants available for Voluntary Organisations to employ a Project Worker for older people. The purpose of the scheme was to set up services such as gardening, decorating, support to carers and to relieve social isolation. Halton Moor and Osmondthorpe Project for Elders was established in September 1994, and on the 1st April 2003, they became a registered charity, charity number 1096626. Since opening their doors in 1994, they have continued to develop their services in line with service user’s consultation and need.
